*WARNING: I'm not responsible for any of the food comas you'll experience!

1.  Find the hidden grotto and pond at Eiffel Tower! It's by a very quiet and cozy spot that has benches, so bring some snacks and wine.

2. Get the best view of Paris from Sacre Couer. I recommend going just before sunset, the view is TO DIE FOR at that time and watching Paris light up, you truly see why it's call the "City of Lights".

April 10, 2017

I never thought I could spend only a day in a city, let alone less than 12 hours...but here we are! Me doing the unthinkable. When I was making an itinerary for my Paris trip, I played with the idea of a possible day trip. For some reason, Amsterdam popped up into my head and the idea became more of reality when I saw it was only a 3.5 hour train ride. So I did something that is totally against my nature: brought a train ticke...

Upon walking thru the golden gates, the abundance of opulence is breathtaking. From the fountains, the gardens, the 2 OTHER chateaus, the farm --YES, A FARM-- there's so much to see and do. If you have a free day while visiting Paris, I highly suggest spending the day seeing how French royalty lived.

How To Get To Versailles

Just under an hour outside of Paris, getting to Versailles is a breeze.  The easiest way to get to Versai...

Last week, I had the pleasure of spending 10 glorious days in the City of Lights. It wasn't my first time to Paris but it was the first time that I actually had time to spend ALL DAY in the Louvre, walk around the Latin Quarter, and just go for walks with no destination in mind. First time I was able to take in all Paris had to offer. Trust me, Paris has A LOT to offer!

NOLA. Madri Gras. Cajun cusine. I'm sure those are a few things that come to mind when someone says "New Orleans" . New Orleans is one of those cities that has charm and history on every corner.  LITERALLY ON EVERY CORNER.

I made the best (still debating if it was the smartest) decision to celebrate my 27th birthday in NOLA. My birthday weekend just happen to fall on the weekend Southern Decadence (gay male prid...

It never fails, when I tell someone I've been here, I've been there, the first thing out of their mouth ... "HOW DO YOU AFFORD IT?!" I used to get offended and quietly think to myself "Is traveling ONLY for the 1%!?". Now, I happily (QUITE HAPPILY LOL) give a couple tips on how I make it work. I have a few golden rules that I live by and hopefully they are quite useful for you.

Where do I start!? London is a city where history, culture, art, and style collides beautifully together. Earlier this year, I chose London for my birthday destination and having already been to the UK before, I pretty much knew how I wanted my trip to go. - Eat, shop, take amazing pictures, and repeat-  ( Side note: you can go to London twice a year and still not see everything. Its honestly that much to do and see! )...

I know, I know, London doesn't have the best food reputation but please believe me when I say, they are trying and it shows! The cuisine is definitely headed towards a French trend. Below are just a few of some of restaurants we ate at.

The Ritz London

We had an amazing afternoon tea here and there was NO disappointment to even think of! Usually when I think of tea time, crustless cucumber finger sandwiches & Earl Grey come to m...

I'm going to be completely honest: London can be quite overwhelming!! If you're headed to London for the 1st time, hopefully this list can help you out with itinerary planning. Here's 10 things every first timer must do in London.

1. Afternoon Tea

What's a visit to London without a cuppa and scones!? Finding an afternoon tea isn't hard to do, every pub, restaurant, hotel offer some version of afternoon tea. I tend to navigate to...
